The Whatcom County Land Division Code is contained within Title The purpose and intent of the land division code is to promote public health, safety, and general welfare and protect the natural resources and environmental while providing for divisions of land within Whatcom County.

CHAPTER 4 – LAND DIVISION PURPOSE The purpose of this chapter is to implement the provisions of the Whatcom County Land Division Regulations (Whatcom County Code Title 21), by providing uniform Development Standards for dividing land.
